Tribal Land Information

Located on the banks of the lower Colorado River, The Fort Mojave Indian Reservation is home to 1,248 Tribal members. The Reservation, federally recognized in 1910, occupies land in Arizona, Nevada and California. The majority of the Reservation lies in Arizona, with a total of 22,037 acres. The remaining acreage is in California with 6,428 acres and Nevada with 3,787 acres. Total Reservation acreage is 32,252. Tribal headquarters is located in Needles, California.

General Land Use Plan

The General Land Use Plan establishes the overall character, extent and location of various land uses and serves as a guide to communicate the policy of the Tribal Council to community members, the business community, developers and others involved in the development of The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe.  In addition, the General Land Use Plan serves as a guide to the Tribal Council in its decisions concerning future development.
